Hilipro Swivel POS Stand Review: Making Ingenico Terminals Actually Usable At The Register

Overall Rating

Ingenico and Axium terminals come flat-to-counter. A proper swivel stand lets customers sign and tap without awkward angles. The Hilipro is the right fit for most installs.

Hilipro Swivel POS Stand — Review

Countertop payment terminals (Ingenico Lane 3000/5000/7000, Axium RX5000/7000) come shipped for flat-on-counter placement. In a real retail setup, that placement is ergonomically awkward — cashiers on one side, customers on the other, and no one can comfortably tap, insert, or sign. A swivel stand solves that by letting the terminal rotate 90-180° between cashier-facing and customer-facing positions.

Fit And Compatibility

Hilipro explicitly lists Ingenico Lane 3000, 3600, 5000, 7000, 8000, plus Axium RX5000/7000/9000, plus Desk 1500. In practice, the mount fits most Ingenico and Verifone-style terminals with similar footprints — verify your specific model before ordering.

Rotation And Stability

The swivel base offers ~180° rotation with a center-position detent. Customers can rotate to sign; cashiers can rotate back for receipt tear-off and next-transaction setup. Stable enough that typing on the terminal keypad doesn't cause wobble.

Weighted base keeps the terminal planted. We tested with a Lane 5000 (moderately heavy) — no creep under normal use.

Cable Routing

The main practical win: cables exit through a base channel instead of dangling under the terminal. Prevents the common failure mode where cashiers pull the terminal to reach the customer side, over-stressing the cable, and eventually damaging the terminal port. Over 6+ months, this saves terminal repair costs.

Where It's Limited

Specific to certain terminal footprints. If your terminal is outside Ingenico/Axium Lane/RX lineups, double-check dimensions before ordering. Square Register and smartphone-based terminals (Square Terminal, Clover Go) won't fit.

No built-in tablet mount. This is a POS terminal stand, not an iPad POS stand. Different use case.

Who Should Buy

Any retail operation running Ingenico Lane or Axium RX terminals. Coffee shops, restaurants, small retail, service businesses.

Who Should Skip

Tablet-POS shops (Square Stand for iPad, Toast). Terminal models outside the compatibility list.

Verdict

Simple, well-executed accessory. Improves ergonomics meaningfully and extends terminal life via better cable routing. Worth the investment for any register running compatible terminals.

Our Verdict

A practical swivel stand that fits Ingenico Lane and Axium RX terminals cleanly. Stable, rotates smoothly, and cable routing prevents tug-damage on the terminal. Reliable accessory for retail.
