In a real retail setup, that placement is ergonomically awkward — cashiers on one side, customers on the other, and no one can comfortably tap, insert, or sign. A swivel stand solves that by letting the terminal rotate 90-180° between cashier-facing and customer-facing positions.

Rotation And Stability
